How we create, test, and maintain content on ReelToMeal

Who Writes Our Content

ReelToMeal content is written by Amit, the founder of ReelToMeal. Amit is a software developer and home cook based in Israel who built the platform to solve a problem he experienced personally — saving recipes from social media and then never being able to find them again.

Our cooking guides, tips, and platform-specific tutorials are written from direct, hands-on experience: using the extraction tool on real recipes, cooking those recipes at home, and noting where the AI gets it right and where it needs a human edit. We don't publish content we haven't personally tested or used.

How We Create Content

1. Experience First

Every article starts from a real question or problem we encountered while using ReelToMeal or cooking at home. We don't write about topics for SEO reasons alone — we write about things we have direct experience with.

2. Practical Testing

Guides about recipe extraction are tested by actually running recipes through the platform and documenting the results. Cooking guides describe techniques we've used in our own kitchens. When we say "this method works," we mean we tried it.

3. Honest Limitations

We write honestly about what AI recipe extraction can and can't do. If a video format produces poor extraction results, we say so. If a cooking technique is hard for beginners, we say that too. We don't oversell.

Update Policy

Social media platforms and AI technology change frequently. We review and update our content when:

Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube changes how recipe videos work or how links behave
Our extraction AI is improved and previous limitations no longer apply
We receive reader feedback that a guide is outdated or inaccurate
We personally re-test a technique and find better results

Updated articles show a "Last updated" date in the byline alongside the original publish date.
